AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Authorities say a body was recovered from Shoal Creek in Central Austin on Sunday evening.
First responders were called to the scene in the 2900 block of North Lamar Boulevard, near 29th Street, around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Austin Fire crews responded to the scene and worked to recover the body from the creek.
A deceased-on-scene pronouncement was obtained around 7 p.m.
Austin Police investigators are looking into the circumstances of the victim's death.
