AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Expected winter weather is prompting the City of Austin and other local government agencies to curtail and delay some services Thursday and Friday.
City of Austin officials announced Wednesday afternoon that all non-essential operations would be suspended on Thursday. Specific impacts from specific city departments will be detailed below.

Austin Public Health will close its COVID-19 testing and vaccine sites, along with Environmental Health Services, the Office of Vital Records, and WIC and Shots for Tots clinics.
Austin Parks & Recreation facilities will be closed on Thursday, except for emergency shelters. This includes golf and pool facilities.
