(Talk1370.com) -- Expect a cooler and drier day Thursday across Central Texas.

Skies will be mostly cloudy with some sun peeking through towards the afternoon Thursday, with highs reaching into the mid 70s. Winds will be out of the northeast at 5 to 10mph.


Clouds will build back in overnight, with lows falling into the upper 50s. Winds will be out of the east at 5 to 10mph.

FRIDAY...Mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 70s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT...Partly cloudy before midnight then becoming cloudy. Lows in the mid 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

SATURDAY...Mostly cloudy. Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 25 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 40 percent.
