AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Authorities are investigating a homicide scene in northern Travis County after a woman was found dead with "obvious injuries," officials said.
The Travis County Sheriff's Office says its deputies responded to a welfare check call at 5:19 p.m. Thursday afternoon in the 1700 block of West Wells Branch Parkway.
Detectives sought and were granted a search warrant for the premises, and searched the home overnight. That investigation is ongoing as of Friday morning.
