AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Early voting is now underway for the May 1 elections across the state of Texas, including eight propositions for City of Austin residents.
Travis County residents can find polling places and details at VoteTravis.com. Polls at Travis County sites will be open from 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday, and noon to 6pm on Sunday.

Hays County residents can find information here.
City of Austin residents will vote on a number of propositions and charter amendments, including a petition to reinstate the city's ban on public camping and a number of proposals that would reshape city government.
Outside of the city, a number of bond propositions, city council races, and school board seats are up for voters to decide on.
Early voting runs through Tuesday, April 27. Election Day is Saturday, May 1.
