ROUND ROCK, Texas (Talk1370.com) -- A fatal multi-vehicle crash shut down a portion of Interstate 35 in Round Rock Thursday morning, backing traffic up for miles through Georgetown.
According to Round Rock Police, at least one person died in the crash in the southbound lanes of I-35 just north of the Round Rock Avenue bridge. The crash was first reported around 7 a.m. Thursday morning.
Southbound lanes of the highway remained closed for several hours, finally re-opening to traffic around 10 a.m.
