AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Early voting for the March 1 primary elections comes to an end Friday, and voters in Travis County will have a few extra hours to cast their ballots.
Winter weather impacts prompted Travis County election officials to close polling locations an hour early on Wednesday, and open them three hours late Thursday morning.
Because of those impacts on polling hours, Travis County District Court Judge Jessica Mangrum granted an order to keep polling locations open until 10 p.m. Friday.
The order only impacts polling locations in Travis County. All of our other metro counties will close their polls at 7 p.m.
Election day is next Tuesday, March 1. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
