As Central Texas readies for its largest annual day of philanthropy, organizers at I Live Here I Give Here are calling on the community to help hit a $10 million fundraising milestone during this year’s Amplify Austin Day.

The 24-hour giving event begins at 6 p.m. on March 4 and concludes at 6 p.m. on March 5. The campaign supports over 700 local nonprofits serving seven Central Texas counties.

The Amplify Austin Day website serves as a central hub where residents can filter through 19 different cause categories—including animal welfare, arts, the environment, basic needs, and veterans’ services—to find organizations that align with their passions. According to organizers, the platform is designed to make participation as easy as possible for anyone looking to give back.

The initiative has historically seen massive community turnout. Last year’s event generated $9.7 million, with more than $1 million coming from corporate giving efforts. Since its launch, Amplify Austin Day has infused over $122 million into the local nonprofit sector.

Locals can contribute by donating online, volunteering, setting up personal fundraising pages, or organizing employer-led giving initiatives. Early donations have been open since January 28 and will count toward the final event totals.
