AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Austin's Trail of Lights will remain closed Tuesday night after heavy rains saturated Zilker Park on Monday.
Event officials say the lack of drying conditions since Monday's rains have created a situation of safety risks and the potential for damage to the park, prompting City of Austin officials to close the park for the day.
Ticketholders with tickets for Dec. 20 will be contacted with information on how they will receive a refund.
The Trail of Lights remains open, weather permitting, through Friday night, Dec. 23.
