BASTROP COUNTY, Texas (Talk1370.com) -- Authorities say a massive wildfire burning east of Bastrop was caused by a nearby structure fire.

Crews have been working the Hudson Fire in Bastrop County since early Sunday afternoon. As of Monday morning, the blaze had grown to 400 acres with about 30% containment, although officials say teams had completed a dozer line around the perimeter of the fire.

The blaze is burning south of Park Road 1C, between Bastrop State Park and Buescher State Park.

Evacuations were ordered for about 60 homes Sunday evening, about half of which were directly threatened by the blaze, officials said. Half of those residents have been able to return home; evacuation orders for the remaining 20-25 homes will be lifted as conditions allow.

Crews are expected to continue mop-up and containment efforts throughout the day on Monday.
