It includes the ' What Do I Do With ...' tool so you know what accepted materials go in the blue cart. Or for hard-to-recycle items you can schedule an appointment to drop them off at the Recycle and Reuse Drop-off Center. Find out more and get the app!

ARR has also started the new year with a change to how it offers bulk and brush collections to residential customers in single-family up to fourplexes in Austin. Collections will be on-demand service, and no longer on predetermined biannual schedules. Household hazardous waste (HHW) collection will also be launched as an on-demand service citywide in January.
Each service address will be able to schedule up to 3 collections per service each calender year. Collections reset at the beginnig of the next year. Appointments can be scheduled on the Austin Recycles app, online or by calling Austin 3-1-1 (512-974-2000).
