AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- State transportation officials are warning of more closures to perform repairs at Interstate 35 and US Highway 290 in North Austin Tuesday night.
TxDOT says it will close the flyovers connecting westbound US 290 to southbound i-35, southbound I-35 to eastbound US 290, and northbound I-35 to eastbound US 290 beginning Tuesday at 8 p.m.
The flyovers are expected to re-open by 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.
TONIGHT: Starting at 8pm, crews will close the westbound US 290 East to southbound I-35 flyover, the southbound I-35 to eastbound US 290 East flyover and the northbound I-35 to eastbound US 290 East flyover for bridge joint repairs. Drivers should expect delays in the area. Detours will be available via the frontage roads.
