Mostly sunny skies Friday ahead of cooler weekend

(Talk1370.com) -- Morning clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies Friday afternoon across Central Texas, before a cold front drops temperatures slightly over the weekend.

Friday's high will reach to 81 degrees in Austin, with southwesterly winds giving way to northwesterly winds in the afternoon.


Mostly clear skies will continue through midnight before clouds begin to build back in overnight, with overnight lows falling to around 50.

SATURDAY... Cooler. Partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 60s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

SATURDAY NIGHT... Partly cloudy before midnight then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 40s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

SUNDAY... Partly cloudy. Highs in the upper 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

SUNDAY NIGHT... Partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 40s.

MONDAY... Mostly cloudy. Highs in the lower 70s.

MONDAY NIGHT... Cloudy. Lows in the mid 50s.
