Officials investigating two deadly shootings in Manor Tuesday night

MANOR, Texas (Talk1370.com) -- Officials are investigating not one, but two deadly shootings less than an hour apart from each other that happened Tuesday night in Manor.

Manor Police say the first shooting happened at approximately 8:50 p.m. in the 11900 block of Jaime Drive, on a report of a person with a gunshot wound to the head.

When officers arrived, they found a 17-year old Hispanic male who had been shot. He was pronounced deceased on the scene, officials said; no identification has been released, but officials did say he was a student at Weiss High School in Pflugerville ISD.

Police say it appears the shooting was accidental.

Then, about an hour later, Travis County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call in the 13500 block of James Garfield Street. Deputies found a man in his 20s who had died from a gunshot wound.

There's no word on any suspects or any other details about the later shooting, except that detectives believe it is an isolated incident with no ongoing threat.
