AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- One person is dead and another was injured following a head-on crash in northwest Austin late Wednesday night.
Austin Police say the crash happened on Howard Lane between McNeil Road and MoPac just before 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Austin-Travis County EMS says one person was pronounced deceased on the scene, while the other victim was taken to St. David's Round Rock with serious injuries.
Police continue to investigate what caused the accident.
