TRAVIS COUNTY (Talk1370.com) -- One person is dead following a crash between a car and a semi-truck in northwest Travis County, officials said.
First responders were called to the 20400 block of State Highway 71 near Lakeway just after 11 a.m. Wednesday. Medics reported an unconscious patient pinned inside the vehicle.
The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene, officials said.
It's the second deadly crash in just a few hours in Travis County. Earlier Wednesday morning, a single-car rollover crash on RM 2244 in western Travis County resulted in one fatalilty.
