AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- One person is dead after a crash involving a scooter in central Austin early Saturday morning.
First responders were called to the intersection of Enfield Road and Newfield Lane just after 2:45 a.m. Saturday.
Medics reported two patients at the scene; the driver of the scooter, said to be a male in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle did not require treatment, officials said.
