AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- One person is dead after an apparent shooting at a southeast Austin apartment complex Saturday morning.
Austin Police said officers were called to the scene in the 1700 block of Burton Drive around 2:20 a.m., after reports of shots being fired.
When officers arrived, they found a victim on the ground with injuries.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, that victim was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center where they were later pronounced deceased.
APD is investigating the scene and speaking with potential witnesses, but no information on a suspect was available. It is believed to be an isolated incident.
