AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- One person is dead after a three-vehicle crash on the city's northeast side Tuesday morning.
First responders were called to the scene along U.S. Highway 183 and Cameron Road just before 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, along the East Anderson Lane frontage road.
Austin-Travis County EMS medics reported one patient being thrown from their vehicle, while a second patient was reported to be a trauma alert.
One patient was pronounced deceased on the scene; two others were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious injuries.
Delays were expected in the area as crews worked to clear the scene and investigate what led to the deadly crash.
