AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Authorities are investigating after a man was hit and killed near the Texas State Capitol early Thursday morning.
Police say a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper hit and ran over a man in his 50s near West 13th and Colorado around 3:45 a.m. Thursday. The man was reportedly lying in the road.
Austin-Travis County EMS says the man was pronounced deceased about a half hour after crews responded to the scene.
