Police investigating vandalism, break-in at Austin NAACP offices in east Austin

AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Authorities are investigating after a weekend break-in at the offices of the Austin chapter of the NAACP.

Austin NAACP President Nelson Linder says a front window at the office, which is located in the 1000 block of East 11th Street, was smashed open Saturday night with a brick.

No one was inside the building at the time. Thieves took three computers, personal items, and other supplies from inside.

Police have not released any information about a suspect in the case. An investigation into the break-in and vandalism is ongoing.
