AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Austin Police are investigating a homicide in North Austin Wednesday evening.
Officers responded to the scene in the 9400 block of North Lamar Boulevard, near Rundberg Lane, around 7:30 p.m.
According to police, it appears some sort of collision was involved in the incident. A male victim was pronounced deceased on the scene.
It's not clear how many people were involved in the incident, although police do have one person detained.
Police say they don't believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.
