AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Authorities are investigating a homicide on the city's southeast side Tuesday evening.
Austin Police were called to the scene around 8 p.m. in the 7900 block of Lee Hill Drive, just to the northeast of U.S. Highway 183 and Metropolis Drive.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a person on the ground dead.
Police say they have a person of interest that detectives were speaking with. Investigators believe that individual and the victim knew each other.
There is no ongoing threat to the public, officials said.
