AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Authorities are investigating a reported homicide scene in northeast Austin Friday morning.
Austin Police say they received a 911 call from the 8200 block of Grayledge Drive around 4 a.m. Friday morning. That's near Interstate 35 and U.S. 183 on the city's northeast side.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a victim with apparent injuries. Despite lifesaving measures, that victim was pronounced deceased on the scene.
No suspect was in custody, but police say they don't believe there is any ongoing threat to the public.
This is the city's 33rd homicide investigation of the year.
