AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Austin Police are investigating an overnight shooting at a motel on the city's north side that left three people injured.
Police say the shooting happened just after 11 p.m. at a Motel 6 in the 7100 block of North Interstate 35, along the southbound frontage road near St. John's.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, three patients were sent to a nearby hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
Police say there doesn't appear to be an ongoing threat to the public.
