AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Authorities are searching for a suspect in connection with a deadly shooting in north Austin Wednesday afternoon.
Austin Police say that shooting happened around 5 p.m. on Dryfield Drive, near U.S. 183 between North Lamar Boulevard and Payton Gin Road.
Officials say the suspect, described as a Black male, with black, short hair and a muscular build, was last seen in the 1200 block of Larkspur Road. He's considered to be armed and dangerous.
A phone alert was sent to residents in the area; one of APD's helicopters was also being used in the search.
