AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Election Day is finally upon us for the 2024 presidential and general elections, with polls set to open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday across the state.
Texas voters will cast their ballots for president, deciding between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, as well as one of Texas' two U.S. Senate seats, deciding between Ted Cruz and Collin Allred. Voters will also select candidates for each of the state's congressional seats.
At the state level, voters will decide on races for railroad commissioner, state senators and representatives, members of the State Board of Education, the Texas Supreme Court, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and the Texas Court of Appeals.
Finally, voters will also decide on a number of county, municipal, and school district races.
Travis County officials say 52 percent of the county's registered voters have already cast their ballots during early voting. Still, they're expecting another 100,000 to 200,000 voters to cast their ballots Tuesday.
