AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Rounds of showers and storms over the next few days will potentially bring as much as 8 to 10 inches of rain to the I-35 corridor.

A Flash Flood WATCH is in effect for all of the Austin metro area from 7 PM Monday until 1PM Thursday...


Widespread heavy rains are expected Tuesday afternoon through the overnight hours into Wednesday morning. Scattered showers and storms are expected to continue into Thursday and even Friday and Saturday.

The latest forecast from the National Weather Service puts a bulls-eye along the I-35 corridor, stretching from western Hays County into the Austin metro area into northern Williamson County.
