AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Crews spent much of the midday hours Thursday cleaning up a diesel fuel spill along Interstate 35 in central Austin.
Austin Fire Department officials said the incident was reported around 11 a.m. along the southbound lanes of the upper deck in the 4400 block, just north of 41st Street.
In addition to the upper deck of the freeway, the spill also affected the frontage road below.

Crews were able to offload the remaining fuel from the 18-wheeler and clean up the remainder of the spill shortly after noon.
