AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Three separate crashes involving motorcycles in the span of about nine hours Thursday night and Friday morning resulted in three fatalities, officials said.

The first crash happened around 7:45 p.m. Thursday night in the 1000 block of Ed Bluestein Boulevard near the interchange with Airport Boulevard in southeast Austin. According to Austin-Travis County EMS, medics were attempting to perform CPR on the motorcyclist, but that person was ultimately pronounced deceased on the scene.

Less than an hour later, first responders were called to a scene in north Austin along the northbound frontage road of U.S. 183 between MoPac and Loop 360, where a crash happened between a motorcycle and a car. Medics pronounced an adult patient deceased on the scene in that incident.

Overnight, a third fatal crash took place just after 3 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 in the lower deck near Manor Road. Police say the vehicle involved in this crash fled the scene; the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased on the scene, according to ATCEMS.

A fourth, non-fatal crash happened around 9:30 p.m. Thursday night at Anderson Mill Road and Centennial Trail. ATCEMS says one adult patient was transported with serious injuries to St. David's Round Rock as a trauma alert.
