Less than two days left in early voting; under 8 percent have voted in Travis County

AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- With less than two days left in early voting for Saturday's municipal elections, just under 8 percent of Travis County voters have cast a ballot.

As of Sunday evening, just over 60,000 ballots had been cast in Travis County, including more than 58,000 ballots cast at early voting locations. According to the Travis County Clerk's office, that represents 7.91% of the county's 759,330 registered voters.


Tuesday is the last day to vote early. In Travis County, polls are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Assuming you live in a jurisdiction that is having an election, you can cast a ballot at any polling place across the county.

Polls will also be open on Saturday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

City of Austin: Eight propositions are before voters, including a petition to reinstate the city's ban on public camping, and a number of charter amendments that would reshape city government.

City of Bee Cave: Three City Council seats are on the ballot.

City of Cedar Park: Three City Council seats and five charter amendments are on the ballot.

City of Georgetown: Two City Council seats are before voters, along with $90 million in mobility bond projects.

City of Hutto: Two City Council seats are on the ballot, along with a number of charter amendments.

City of Lakeway: The Mayor's seat and three City Council races are on the ballot.

City of Leander: The city's Mayor and three City Council seats are before voters.

City of Round Rock: Two City Council seats are on the ballot.

Eanes ISD: Two Board of Trustees seats are on the ballot.

Georgetown ISD: Two Board of Trustees seats are on the ballot.

Hutto ISD: Two Board of Trustees seats are on the ballot.
