AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Austin Police are investigating the death of a woman in North Austin Saturday afternoon.
Police were called to the 1900 block of West Rundberg Lane, near Northgate Boulevard, around 3 p.m. A 911 caller reported a woman being shot.
When officers arrived, they located the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. They proceeded to offer first aid until medics arrived; the victim was later transported to a nearby hospital where she later died.
Police say they don't believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.
