The woman who was shot after she opened fire at Dallas Love Field last month is finally out of the hospital.
Shooting suspect 37-year old Portia Odufuwa was shot numerous times by Dallas police after she began randomly shooting at Dallas Love Field on July 25th.
Odufuwa has been recovering at Parkland Hospital for the last three and a half weeks. Today Odufuwa is in the Dallas County jail, being held without bond.
It was a Monday morning when police say Odufuwa took a shared ride to Love Field, went into a restroom, emerged and began acting strangely. Witnesses said she began ranting about her ex-husband. Then she began shooting.
Video of the shooting shows Odufuwa aiming her gun in the air and then pointing it at police who were in the airport. They shot her.
Odufuwa is being held without bond on a charge of aggravated assault against a public servant.
