You have 24 hours to leave.
That's the message the city of Dallas has for a group making up a homeless encampment next to city hall.
The homeless camp, called camp Rhonda, moved to Pioneer Plaza, after being kicked out of a vacant lot just south of Deep Ellum.
Leaders say they are expressing their first amendment right, and demanding the city provide them with adequate housing solutions.
The city says they have provided homeless housing alternatives to those in the camp, but many have refused.
The city says because the tents sit on a historical site, Pioneer Park Cemetery, campers there have to leave, and the city has no choice but to evict them immediately.
