A 5-year-old is dead and a 26-year-old woman is behind bars this morning charged in connection with his death.
Dallas Police say the boy's body was discovered yesterday inside a home on Silkwood Street in the Bonton neighborhood of south Dallas.
Investigators say the boy had signs of trauma. Police then arrested Tiffany Williams and have charged her with injury to a child.
It's unclear if she is the boy's mother. Child Protection Services is investigating and confirms it's had previous involvement with the family.
