The Winter Weather Advisory is still in effect this morning and icy roads have caused traffic issues all over the DFW area.
More than 50 vehicles were involved in a "mass casualty incident" on I-35W at 28 street in north Fort Worth. MedStar said a crash involved multiple vehicles including a MedStar unit and an 18-wheeler.
One person died in a chain reaction crash on an icy bridge in Dallas this morning. Just past 1 a.m. at least 18 vehicles were caught up in the collision on a slippery, elevated portion of a bridge on north-bound I-45 near Lamar.
The north-bound side of I-45 was closed for several hours.
