A 500 acre fire in Kaufman County is still out of control.
Officials say the King Creek Fire is generally near County Road 4061 in between Kemp and Grays Prairie, south of Kaufman.
It's now considered 65% contained. Fire crews from Kemp, Mabank, Kaufman, Scurry, College Mound, Rosser and Crandall pitched in to help.
