DALLAS (Talk1370.com/NewsRadio 1080 KRLD) -- Lt. Col. Allen West, who is running against Governor Greg Abbott, is upset with Dallas Police for arresting his wife, Angela for allegedly drunk driving.
On Friday night around 8:45 p.m., after having dinner at PF Changs, with her grandson Jackson, Angela West was pulled over by Dallas Police near the intersection of N.W. Highway, and Walton Walker Blvd.
After performing a sobriety test, Angela was arrested and booked into the Dallas County jail on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age.
In a video, posted to his social media accounts, Allen West stated that he was "highly pissed off", for arresting his wife, and for leaving his grandson alone with two Dallas Police officers.
He also stated that his wife only drank water and lemonade while dining at PF Changs.
Around 3:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon Allen West posted another video stating that his wife had been released.
