The man who murdered a McKinney real estate agent 16 years ago is scheduled to go to his own death Wednesday in Huntsville.
Kosoul Chanthakoummane has already had his execution delayed twice and he's now asking for a third delay.
In 2006, McKinney realtor Sarah Anne Walker was found stabbed to death inside a model home she was showing.
Testimony in the murder trial revealed that Chanthakoummane's DNA was found under Walker's fingernails.
His advocates have filed a clemency petition with the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles seeking a stay of execution. If that fails, he is due to receive a lethal injection Wednesday evening.
