A woman is locked up in Dallas where a man was gunned down at a car wash over the weekend.
On Saturday morning in South Dallas, police say a man named Eric Barber was shot on Elsie Faye Heggins about a mile from Fair Park.
Witnesses saw who did the shooting and gave police a description of her and her car. Police later found the car, a Chrysler 200, on Meadow Street about a mile-and-a-half from the car wash.
Pretty quick, they also found the woman they were looking for. Dallas Police say 41-year-old Shamkea Khalid is now jailed on a murder charge. Investigators have not said why Barber was killed.
