One man is dead and another is in the hospital following a Fort Worth gunbattle that turned into an all-night police stand-off.
Reports say just past 8:00 p.m. Thursday police got a 911 call saying two people were shooting at one another in the parking lot of The Woodlands, an apartment complex on John T. White near Loop 820.
Police are not yet releasing many details so far but one of the gunmen apparently retreated into an apartment and "holed up" there for hours.
But early Friday morning, it was reported that both men were taken to the hospital. One has died but the other is expected to survive.
Police have not said why the men were shooting at each other.
