A once upon a time new bride has been indicted for murdering her new husband back in April.

On April 25th, a woman from Sanger called Denton police to say her husband had been shot as they were driving through the city. At the time of the shooting they had only been married a few days.

Now a Denton County grand jury has indicted 30-year-old Amber Marie Rosales for the murder 31-year-old Jeffrey McBride.

Denton police said at the time that Rosales told them the couple was driving in Denton when McBride pulled over to talk to a man who was walking. She claimed that man pulled a gun, shot McBride, then threw the gun into their pickup truck and ran.

A month later police arrested Rosales on a murder charge. If convicted she could face a life prison term.
