Shooting in Bryan leaves several injured, suspect still at large

Police are looking for a person who opened fired at a business park leaving several people injured in Bryan, Thursday afternoon.

According to NBCDFW, Lt. Jason James with the Bryan Police Department said the first call about the shooting came at about 2:30 p.m. at a business on the 300 block of Stone City Drive and that there were "several victims."

No information has been released regarding the shooter nor the motive. It is believed the person is still on the run. No description has been provided.

While James couldn't confirm the number of people who had been hurt or their conditions, police did confirm that six ambulances had been called to the scene, reported NBCDFW.

There have been no deaths reported and those who were injured were transported to St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital.

Police said during an informal news conference that the scene of the shooting is secure and that witnesses are currently being interviewed.
