When TCU trustee and Congressman Roger Williams objected to the certification of some of President Biden's electoral votes it got the attention of the TCU Faculty Senate, which will now consider a resolution to remove Williams from the Board of Trustees.
The resolution says, in part, that Williams' objections undermined the university's mission "to educate individuals to think and act as ethical leaders and responsible citizens in the global community."
On February 4th, the Faculty Senate will discuss and vote on the resolution which is not binding on the university.
Only the TCU Board of Trustees is authorized to removed one of its own members.
Williams is also a TCU alumni and has represented the Texas 25th Congressional District for eight years.
