Today is Big Tex's 70th birthday -- and the State Fair in Dallas is throwing him a party.
They're offering up giveaways and special events on Tuesday, October 4th, as long as supplies last.
At 10:30 a.m. there's the Kroger official birthday cake cutting at Big Tex Circle.
At 2:30 p.m. Chef J. Black from Knife Catering shows off his special recipe created just for Big Tex at the Creative Arts Building. And -- there are free samples.
And at 5:30 p.m. you can serenade Big Tex during a birthday sing-along at Big Tex Circle.
