DALLAS (NewsRadio 1080 KRLD) -- Two cases of the COVID-19 Omicron variant have been confirmed in North Texas.
Dr. Mohammad Ayass at Ayass Bioscience Lab detected the variant.
Ayass says both cases are in adult men with no recent travel history. Both had been fully vaccinated, but neither had a booster. One was experiencing mild symptoms, and the other was asymptomatic.
Dr. Ayass says he's not surprise Omicron has turned up in North Texas.
