It was a sad and grim death for a ground worker at San Antonio International Airport on Friday.
Reports say the unidentified worker was accidentally sucked into the engine of a Delta Airlines jet that had just landed from Los Angeles. The man worked for a Delta contractor called UniFi Aviation.
The NTSB said it is communicating with the airline as the Board investigates the deadly incident.
On New Year's Eve, a worker for an American Airlines subsidiary died in a similar incident at an airport in Alabama. Earlier this month, OSHA fined the subsidiary $15,000.
