DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - A day after Dallas Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph was reportedly questioned by Dallas police, two arrests were made in the shooting death of 20-year-old Cameron Ray.
Dallas police announced Saturday that they had arrested 28-year-old Aries Jones and 21-year-old Tivione English, of Baton Rouge, LA, in connection with the homicide that took place in the 3600 block of Greenville Avenue on March 18.
Joseph's attorney admitted Friday that his client was in the suspects' vehicle when the shooting occurred. However, according to WFAA, Joseph hasn't been arrested and isn't facing any charges at this time.
The Cowboys released a statement Friday regarding Joseph's involvment.
"The Dallas Cowboys are aware of the tragic incident that occurred in Dallas on March 18. First and foremost, our hearts go out Mr. Ray's family and loved ones. The organization is aware of Kelvin Joseph's possible connection to this incident. We are in contact with Dallas law enforcement and have alerted the NFL office. We have no further comment at this time."
