(SportsRadio 610) -- Even with Deshaun Watson's legal situation looming large, at least two teams are reportedly still interested in trading for the Texans' quarterback.
The Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers are both monitoring Watson's legal cases and are considered potential trade suitors.
This is especially interesting considering the Dolphins traded this year's No. 3 overall pick to the Niners for additional draft picks, and that No. 3 would've belonged to the Texans had they not traded it to Miami two years ago for left tackle Laremy Tunsil, who the Texans only traded for to protect Watson's blind side.
If your head spinning, don't worry. You're not alone.
What's important to consider in the lead-up to tonight's draft is Watson still being the most proven quarterback available, more than any player the Niners could pick at 3.
And no other team has the capital, or mutual interest that Miami can claim.
As Charles Robinson of Yahoo points out, the Dolphins are the only team that could pull off a draft day trade for Watson.
It's a long shot, but certainly within the realm of possibility.
Based on reporting from NFL Network, the Niners are interested in acquiring Aaron Rodgers or Watson. With those aspirations, settling for any prospect instead would seem deflating.
