It's hard to find a critic of Dak Prescott in recent weeks, and now he can count New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers as one of his biggest fans.

Over his last six games, Prescott has led the Cowboys to a 5-1 record, throwing 18 TD to just 2 INT, and averaging over 300 yards passing a game.

During his weekly Tuesday appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers took time out to praise Dallas’ signal-caller.

“He's become one of my favorite quarterbacks to watch,” Rodgers told McAfee. “I just love that he's really playing the position.”

Rodgers was particularly impressed with how Prescott has been using his now-famous “here we go” cadence.

“I'm watching him use his cadence beautifully, and get into this rhythmic ‘here we go,’ using it as a dummy sometimes, doing it twice, into other cadences. The last four or five weeks, I've gotten to see more of their games, and I just want to say he's playing the position in a really impressive way.”

Rodgers acknowledged the criticism Prescott receives, and says it's likely just the nature of being the quarterback of America's Team. Regardless, Rodgers doesn't count himself among those critics.

“I love the way he's playing. Like really playing. I'm not talking about just making good throws. I'm talking about it seems more rare that guys are actually really playing the position.”
